Tea-For-Two Pregnancy Tea

I have really bad morning sickness; only that I get it in the evening so I guess that'd be 'evening sickness'? It is so bad that my doctor prescribed me Phenergan (Promethazine) and I hate taking it. I try to go as long as I can without taking it, but I can't keep anything I eat down that I have to take it. It's a Class C drug; if the benefit outweighs the risk, it should be safe to take. There is not enough research done on pregnant women to determine if it's safe, but for the most part, I believe it's safe.
So anyway, I read a few things about this tea and thought I'd give it a shot. It's an all natural, baby-safe herbal tea to support a healthy pregnancy, tone the uterus, and relieve morning sickness discomfort. It's a loose-leaf tea so I use a tea ball infuser but you can just directly put it in. I bought just one bag which is a one month supply for $14.95 on their website: Fairhaven Health.
Tea-for-Two brings together proven herbs that have been used for centuries to tone and relax the uterine muscles, strengthen the womb throughout the pregnancy, and prepare the body for labor and childbirth. Tea-for-Two may also help prevent or reduce pregnancy complications.
I've started drinking it in the mornings and evenings. It tends to help a bit but my morning sickness isn't completely gone. I've been taking the Phenegan less.
The organic ingredients:
Strawberry leaf – nourishes and tones the uterus and provides key vitamins, minerals, and alkaloids that promote a healthful pregnancy.
Alfalfa – high in nutritive vitamins and minerals, including Vitamin K. which is critical to a healthy pregnancy.
Dandelion leaf - helps to eliminate excess water from the system to ease fluid retention; provides; excellent source of potassium, calcium and iron.
Oatstraw – calms the nervous system to alleviate stress and tension.
Ginger root – assuages nausea and eases morning sickness symptoms.
Lemon verbena – provides refreshing, zesty flavor.

Since I've started the tea and feeling a little better, I made steam rolls for dinner. I've been craving this for a while; I just knew it wasn't going to sit well.
I think that's a lot for one day.

    1. Thank you! Steam rolls are pretty easy to make. The hardest part is steaming the wrap. I can definitely do a tutorial on it :)

    1. Thanks Peiji! So far the tea works great, I'm feeling much better.
The Alba Botanica is a little too strong for my skin. After a couple days of using it, my face was so sensitive and burning. My face was red, I don't know if my skin is just too sensitive or I'd it was a small allergic reaction to it but I stopped using it. If you have sensitive skin, you probably might not want to use it..

    1. Hi Pk! I guess it depends on what brand you use for the steam rolls. I use to go through a pack before I can get it right, but I switched to a different brand. I use the green bag that says Banh Cuon on the front with a picture of four steam rolls in the front. It says to use 4 cups of water but I use 4.5 cups. I like it a little thinner. And you just add a little oil. And I also don't grease the pan because I added that little bit of oil to the mixture.
