$25 Gift Certificate Giveaway! [CLOSED]

[CLOSED]. I have notified the winner of this giveaway via email.
Thanks to those who participated! :)

Hello beautiful bloggers!
I have a surprise for you!

Apothica is offering one lucky reader of my blog a $25 gift certificate to use at Apothica.com!  (Or one of their other sites SkinCareRx.com and SkinBotanica.com)

How exciting is that?!

Apothica carry many beauty product names, from makeup, to skin care, hair care, fragrance and so much more! One of the lines they carry is Cargo

I have very few Cargo products I’ve purchased in the past, including my favorite of the essential palette, dark neutral. It’s really easy to apply and shows exactly where to apply each color. I should really do a review on it, but I get so caught up using every new product I purchase, it's overwelming but of course, fun! Anyways, check out their site for yourself at Apothica.com.

How to enter:
1. Follow my blog via Google Friend Connect.
2. Leave a comment below with your name and email address, so I can contact you as soon as this giveaway ends.
3. Choose ONE of the options below to do, and please provide a link.

THREE OPTIONS:

2. Follow Apothica on Twitter (give your twitter name) and tweet about my giveaway!

2. After verification, Apothica will email the a code for the gift card to be used at SkinCareRx.com, Apothica.com, and SkinBotanica.com

LOTD Vamp Glam ;)

Today I tried my new tarte for True Blood palette. The colors are great!
I used the "Telepath" (sparkling warm rose) on the entire lid.
Then I used the "Fairy" (shimmering pink) for the inner corners of the eye and blended up to the brow bone.
Then the "V" (sparkling crimson) on the upper and lower lash line, and out towards the corner of the eye.

The finished look.

I also used tarte for True Blood eye primer & gel-liner.
The primer works great, it's very similar to the Urban Decay potion primer.
The gel-liner works comes on really smooth, however it smeared easily and was getting into my eye. It's also really hard to wash off. It left a greasy residue under my eyes and lash line, I had to use two different make-up remover to get rid of it.
The palette also comes with a mascara too but have yet to use it.

Styling with Suspenders

Ian Somhalder makes suspenders look so HAWT! Don't you agree?! ^^
I'm not just saying that because I'm a huge fan of The Vampire Diaries, but he looks really great here at the MuchMusic Video Awards :)

My 24th Birthday

I just turned 24 yesterday. I'm never really that excited for my birthday, but when that day actually comes, I feel extra special =)
I went out for dinner at The Cheesecake Factory with my husband, my brother and a few friends. The Cheesecake Factory has a wide selection of food of different ethnicity, and of course their cheesecakes, YUMMAYYYY! =D

FOTD: Red Alert ;)

Hi! Here's my fotd. Details below.

1. Clean&Clear moisturizer (which I forgot to take a picture of)

2. Clarins Skin Illusion foundation in Honey

3. bareMinerals Matte in Light. I use this for extra coverage.

4. Hoola by Benefit bronzing powder. I use this daily, as you can see it's worn out. Great to contour the face.

5. Urban Decay baked bronzer in Gilded, gives a light shimmery glow to the skin.

6. Ulta Professional eye primer. I got this for FREE with my Ulta Coupon Reward Level 5. If you are a member of The Club at Ulta, you are familiar with that is. If you are not, this is basically what it is. They have 7+ Levels of rewards you can get, and that depends on how much you spend every quarter of the year. I spent at least $250 between March 1st-June 30th and that put me in at Level 5 reward and in that level it has a list of free goodies you can choose from. I chose the "choice of any Ulta Professional product up to $25" and that was why I chose to try this eye primer, even though the price was only $12. As of right now, I like it better than the Urban Decay potion primer.

7. Victoria's Secret baked mineral shadow quad in Secluded Lagoon. I only used the last three colors, not the green.

8. Maybelline Line Stiletto liquid liner in Brownish-Black. I like this liner because it's easy to use but it's NOT waterproof.

9. Maybelline Great Lash mascara in Blackest Black

10. Rimmel lipstick in Red Alert

Key to red lip stick is to keep everything else as natural looking as possible otherwise you're just over-doing it.
