Vegas Baby!

I'm in Vegas baby! =)

I've been in Vegas for a few days now and it's been a lot of fun. Walking on the strip is exhausting! It's so beautiful here at night, here's a preview from last night =)

I also went shopping at Ross and got this nice eye palette for $3.99! The colors are bright and very pigmented.

New foundation review

I actually hadn't plan to purchase a new foundation. I had a job interview at 1PM and it was about 12:30, I pulled into the mall, parked at the Macy's parking lot, and as I was walking out of Macy's into the mall section, I was stopped by a saleslady. I didn't want to be rude so listened to her as she talked about Clarins makeup products (which I noticed as I looked around, there was a Clarins event going on) Before I knew it, I was sitting in a chair getting ready to get "tested" on.

She was very sweet. I didn't tell her I had an interview, so without warning me, she removed my makeup! By the time it was finished, I was stunned, I looked better than before lol. The look was natural and had just enough coverage without looking cakey.

I ended up buying the Clarins Skin Illusion Liquid Foundation in Honey 110 for $35 and the Bronzing Powder in Golden Sun for $33. 

Then I got all the below for FREE! (including the gold bag) 

Gentle Foaming Cleanser, Eye Contour Gell (puffiness), Mascara, Beauty Flash Balm (brightens & tightens), and the best one, the FREE Shine Stopper!

I have freckles, but after the application, they're hardly noticeable.

The foundation is light-medium coverage but it's build-able if you want more coverage.

I had 5 minutes to get to my interview by the time i was done with everything. TOTALLY WORTH IT =) Did I get the job after the interview? Not sure yet, will hear back this week.

Wedding Outfit

I had a wedding to attend on Saturday, and I had a pink dress all picked out a couple months ago. And I picked out these black heels that I really wanted to wear. (I think that it is the shoe that compliments the outfit, therefore it is most important).

But the day before the wedding, my boyfriend told me it shows "too much" cleavage, and I had to buy a new dress. 

This is the dress I picked out. A white & green striped dress. 

The shoes I had picked out to wear didn't match the white belt that came with the dress, so I paired it with a black belt to match the shoes.

NC UPDATE + Giveaway Winner Announced!

Hi beautiful bloggers!
I'm still in NC, going back home this coming Thursday! I miss home so much! I feel like I've changed so much in the last week!

I colored and cut my hair. I didn't bring my camera cord with me so I can't upload pictures from my camera. I took this picture with the camera on my phone so it's a little dull, but this is my new hair. The color is actually really bright!


I like it a lot, but we'll see how long I keep it this way. Things are A LOT cheaper down here than in Minnesota. Except when purchasing clothes down here, they add tax! (MN does not)

I also got a tattoo!
First of all, if you are going to get all judgmental, I suggest you leave now. I also don't need someone to preach to me.
I personally believe that tattoos are a visual expression of oneself, it doesn't change what is on the inside. 

Don't mind the shine, it's the a&d ointment to keep the design moist. What do you guys think?

This wasn't a "spur of the moment" thing. This stands for one of the best thing that someone has ever done for me. And you.

When I was growing up, I didn't completely understand what it was to be a Christian. Who was Jesus? What did he do? Why do we worship him?
Truth be told, I still don't think I understand everything; I'm still learning. I read this book by Max Lucado when I was in my early teens. There was something that stuck out to me after reading it. "Jesus gave up the crown of Heavens for a crown of thorns. He did this for you. Just for you."

No matter who I am or what I have done, Jesus loves me so much that he sacrificed himself to save me. He who was nailed to the cross. He who shed his blood. He did this for me. To save me from my sins. 

There is no story more powerful and loving than this.
