I was at Kohl's earlier today. I wasn't planning on shopping, I just had to pee really bad, which I didn't get to go because they didn't have a bathroom. What kind of two-level retail store not have a restroom??
I went up to the second floor and came across the shoe section, and we know me, I had to browse.

It is such a beautiful day out today! I did not need a coat or a jacket to go out today, just a thin sweater. And no boots, so start getting those sandals and flats ready ladies! :)

Tea-For-Two Pregnancy Tea

I have really bad morning sickness; only that I get it in the evening so I guess that'd be 'evening sickness'? It is so bad that my doctor prescribed me Phenergan (Promethazine) and I hate taking it. I try to go as long as I can without taking it, but I can't keep anything I eat down that I have to take it. It's a Class C drug; if the benefit outweighs the risk, it should be safe to take. There is not enough research done on pregnant women to determine if it's safe, but for the most part, I believe it's safe.
So anyway, I read a few things about this tea and thought I'd give it a shot. It's an all natural, baby-safe herbal tea to support a healthy pregnancy, tone the uterus, and relieve morning sickness discomfort. It's a loose-leaf tea so I use a tea ball infuser but you can just directly put it in. I bought just one bag which is a one month supply for $14.95 on their website: Fairhaven Health.

NYX Girls: Nude Truffle & Prismatic Gold

My little brother works at a pharmacy / gift shop and told me I could use his 25% off discount. Of course I couldn't say no to that. So I got myself a few things.

Here are two NYX girls nail polishes in a pink shade called Nude Truffle, and a gold glitter one called Prismatic Gold. I was really excited about these two because for my wedding, originally I wanted the colors to be Pink and Gold but Shuavij had a problem with the guys wearing Pink to match the dresses of the bridesmaids. So now our wedding colors are Green and Silver. Green is my favorite color, but I think Pink would of been nicer, more girly :)

My MOH knew I wanted my wedding to be Pink and Gold, but since I'm not, she is having Pink and Gold be my Bachelorette party theme colors. This nail polish combination would be nice for that night! :)

New foundation review

I actually hadn't plan to purchase a new foundation. I had a job interview at 1PM and it was about 12:30, I pulled into the mall, parked at the Macy's parking lot, and as I was walking out of Macy's into the mall section, I was stopped by a saleslady. I didn't want to be rude so listened to her as she talked about Clarins makeup products (which I noticed as I looked around, there was a Clarins event going on) Before I knew it, I was sitting in a chair getting ready to get "tested" on.

She was very sweet. I didn't tell her I had an interview, so without warning me, she removed my makeup! By the time it was finished, I was stunned, I looked better than before lol. The look was natural and had just enough coverage without looking cakey.

I ended up buying the Clarins Skin Illusion Liquid Foundation in Honey 110 for $35 and the Bronzing Powder in Golden Sun for $33. 

Then I got all the below for FREE! (including the gold bag) 

Gentle Foaming Cleanser, Eye Contour Gell (puffiness), Mascara, Beauty Flash Balm (brightens & tightens), and the best one, the FREE Shine Stopper!

I have freckles, but after the application, they're hardly noticeable.

The foundation is light-medium coverage but it's build-able if you want more coverage.

I had 5 minutes to get to my interview by the time i was done with everything. TOTALLY WORTH IT =) Did I get the job after the interview? Not sure yet, will hear back this week.

Wedding Outfit

I had a wedding to attend on Saturday, and I had a pink dress all picked out a couple months ago. And I picked out these black heels that I really wanted to wear. (I think that it is the shoe that compliments the outfit, therefore it is most important).

But the day before the wedding, my boyfriend told me it shows "too much" cleavage, and I had to buy a new dress. 

This is the dress I picked out. A white & green striped dress. 

The shoes I had picked out to wear didn't match the white belt that came with the dress, so I paired it with a black belt to match the shoes.

Yay it's Friday! Hopefully everyone gets some rest from their long and busy week =)

This is a short post. I just wanted to swatch some colors to these Physician Formula shades that I picked up.

A long week is finally over!

It's been such a long week, especially with working over-time. TGIF! That being said, my co-worker Susan and I went to Target. Who doesn't love Target?!
